𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 5, 2026 – 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎, 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒋𝒈𝒖𝒓, 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏 Zakir Baloch, son of Abdin, was a young driver and a resident of Sabzal Bazar Paroom. He earned his livelihood through driving and was known in the area as a hardworking young man striving to support his family.
Zakir Baloch was killed on March 5, 2026, in the Kaleri area of Paroom Panjgur. Armed men opened fire on him, leaving him critically wounded. He later lost his life as a result of the attack, leaving his loved ones in deep grief.
The killing of Zakir Baloch highlights the worsening situation in Balochistan, where young Baloch men and civilians continue to lose their lives in targeted killings. Families are repeatedly forced to mourn the loss of their loved ones while justice and accountability remain absent.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) strongly condemns the killing of Zakir Baloch. BYC calls on international human rights organisations, global institutions, and the international community to urgently take notice of the grave human rights situation in Balochistan and raise their voices against the ongoing Baloch genocide.
This cycle of targeted killings continues to affect the Baloch nation relentlessly. Generation after generation, civilians are abducted, attacked, and killed, leaving loved ones in mourning. The systematic targeting of Baloch individuals underscores the urgent need for global intervention to end this violence and ensure the protection of the Baloch people.
The repeated targeting of Baloch civilians is a deliberate assault on the nation itself. Unless decisive action is taken to stop these killings and hold the perpetrators accountable, countless more lives will be lost, and loved ones will continue to bear the pain of this ongoing injustice.
