Families of missing Baloch activists have entered their 51st day of protest in Pakistan’s capital, refusing to leave until their loved ones are released.
Despite days of heavy rain and harsh conditions, elderly women, men, and children gathered outside in Islamabad on Thursday to demand an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan and the release of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leaders.

The demonstrators accused Pakistani authorities of harassment, intimidation, and blocking their access to the National Press Club. Witnesses said protesters have been subjected to constant surveillance while enduring weeks of rain and scorching heat.
Campaigners say the families’ determination highlights the severity of the human rights crisis in Balochistan, where hundreds have been reported missing in recent months.
The government has not issued a formal response to the demands, fuelling anger among protesters who vow to continue their sit-in “until justice is served.
