February 2025, Balochistan – The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has condemned the continuing enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan, highlighting the escalation of the genocide against the Baloch nation. According to the committee, the recent killing of Allah Dad Wahid Baloch, a postgraduate and MPhil scholar from Singani Sar, Turbat, has added to the growing number of victims. Allah Dad was reportedly murdered by state-backed death squads, marking another tragic chapter in the ongoing Baloch genocide.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has issued a list of individuals who have been forcibly disappeared across Balochistan, continuing the worrying trend of disappearances in the region.
The list includes:
- Yasir (S/O Yaseen) and Hayat (S/O Wali Muhammad), residents of Majbor Abad, Bunistan, Panjgur, forcibly disappeared on 19 January 2025.
- Jaleel (S/O Abdul Khaliq), resident of Ehassai, Panjgur.
- Ghani (S/O Noor Baksh), resident of Hooth Abad, abducted from Gwadar on 8 January 2025.
- Mehmood (S/O Mehfooz), a Zamiyad driver from Ehassai, Panjgur, forcibly disappeared on 4 February 2025.

- Hassan Sarwar and Kamil Shreef, abducted near Park Hotel, Turbat Bazar, on 4 February 2025.
- Roshin Baloch, Rahil Baloch, Naeem Baloch, and Adil Baloch, four cousins forcibly disappeared from Bahman, Kech, the previous night.
The committee has raised alarms over the ongoing human rights violations in the region, with the state’s systematic targeting of the Baloch people. The enforced disappearances and killings are seen as part of an effort to silence dissent and quash Baloch demands for justice, equality, and recognition of their rights.
“The enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings are clear attempts to erase the Baloch people’s identity and their fight for justice,” the Baloch Yakjehti Committee stated. The committee has urged national and international human rights organisations to intervene immediately and ensure the safety and release of those who have been unlawfully detained.
Family members of the victims, including the recently disappeared individuals, have continued to hold protests demanding the safe return of their loved ones. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has called for an end to the state’s violent tactics and for an investigation into the disappearances and killings.
