Aomar Karim Speech | Baloch National Movement Protest Outside 10 Downing Street, London | 8 April 2026
Baloch political activist Aomar Karim delivers a speech outside 10 Downing Street, London, on 8 April 2026, as part of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) UK Chapter protest and Global Campaign (10 March – 9 April 2026).
In his speech, Aomar Karim calls on Western human rights activists and political organisations to break their silence on Balochistan, challenging the international community to raise their voices for the Baloch people just as they do for Palestine, Gaza, Kashmir and African nations.
Karim highlights the history of Balochistan, reminding the world that Pakistan occupied Balochistan on 27 March 1948, and that before that occupation, Balochistan was a free and independent country. He reaffirms his identity as Baloch and his rejection of Pakistani occupation, vowing to continue the struggle for Balochistan’s freedom until his last breath.
