London, 5 February 2025 – Aomar Karim, a Baloch human rights and political activist, expressed solidarity with Ukraine during a protest outside the US Embassy in London, calling for global attention on human rights violations in Balochistan.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Aomar Karim said, “I stand in solidarity with Ukraine for human rights, peace, and justice. The world must not ignore Balochistan. Every day, Pakistan is committing human rights violations—Baloch people are facing enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. The world must know what is happening in Balochistan.”
While the protest focused on support for Ukraine, Aomar Karim took the opportunity to highlight the ongoing human rights crisis in Balochistan. His message drew attention to the violations faced by the Baloch people and called for global awareness of the situation.
