𝙁𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙮 26, 2026 | 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙖, 𝙆𝙚𝙘𝙝, 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣 Nasram Baloch, son of Peer Bux, from Mohdabad Mehnaz, Buleda, belonged to a poor family.
He was forcibly disappeared on 12 October 2023. For nine months, his family lived in anguish and uncertainty. From 2 June to 6 June 2024, they held a sit-in protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Turbat, organised rallies, and peaceful demonstrations, demanding his safe release.
He was finally released on 13 June 2024, but his health had severely deteriorated. During his detention, he suffered torture and inhumane treatment, leaving him with hepatitis and lasting physical harm.
Only a few months later, on 8 August 2024, he was again forcibly disappeared from his home in Buleda Bit. Armed men stormed the house, tortured his mother and sister, and took Nasram away.
On 26 February 2026, his tortured and lifeless body was found dumped in the Makseen Nadi area, bearing clear signs of severe abuse.
We strongly condemn this extrajudicial killing and demand accountability. We call upon the international community, including the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, and Amnesty International, to urgently investigate enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan.
