A peaceful protest will be held outside 10 Downing Street, London, on Sunday, 20 July 2025, calling for the safe release of Mir Taj Muhammad Sarparah, who has been missing for five years following his enforced disappearance in Balochistan.
The demonstration is organised by Salia Marri, the wife of Mr Sarparah, who is urging the international community, human rights defenders, and members of the public to show solidarity with the families of Baloch missing persons.
“It’s been five years since my husband was forcibly disappeared. I call upon all individuals to stand with us in solidarity as we demand his safe release and justice for all Baloch missing persons,” said Salia Marri.
The protest aims to draw attention to the ongoing crisis of enforced disappearances in Balochistan and to pressure both Pakistani authorities and the international community to take action.
Participants are encouraged to attend and amplify the voices of the victims’ families, advocating for justice, accountability, and an end to enforced disappearances.
