London: World Sindhi Congress stages protest against extrajudicial killing of human rights activist Hidayat Lohar.
The World Sindhi Congress protests Pakistan’s extrajudicial killing of Hidayat Lohar, demanding justice and accountability. Allegedly perpetrated by the ISI, his death has sparked outrage and calls for investigation into human rights abuses. The Congress condemns such actions and urges international attention to the plight of Sindhi people. Their protest serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle against injustice and impunity in the region.
According to the statement, the human rights activist Hidayat Lohar was tragically murdered by unidentified assailants in his hometown, Sindh,on 16 February while on his way to the school where he worked as a teacher.
The protest saw the participation from Sindhi, Baloch and other human rights supporters across UK, who called for justice for the activist Lahore and accountability for the Pakistani agencies allegedly implicated in his brutal murder.
