According to reports, a young man named Raziq, son of Malang has been forcibly disappeared allegedly at the hands of Pakistani security forces in Pasni, a coastal town in the Gwadar district of Balochistan.
According to the family members, Raziq was detained by the forces earlier on Monday and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location. The circumstances surrounding his detention remain unclear, and no official statement has been released by the authorities regarding the incident.
The family has expressed grave concern for Raziq’s safety, appealing for his immediate and safe recovery. They have called upon human rights organizations and relevant authorities to intervene and ensure his well-being.
Incidents of enforced disappearances have been a recurring issue in Balochistan, with human rights groups frequently highlighting concerns over such practices.
Local activists and community members have condemned the incident, demanding transparency from the security forces and the immediate release of Raziq. Protests are expected to follow if swift action is not taken to address the family’s concerns.
