🔖: Who is Carinina Jahani ?
📖: Professor Carina Jahani is one of the prominent Swedish Iranologists who has a great interest in the Balochi language. For this reason, she has made many trips to Western Balochistan, occupied by Iran, and Eastern Balochistan, occupied by Pakistan. Professor Jahani’s focus on the Balochi language is so deep and vast that she can be considered one of the few scholars who has devoted her life to studying the linguistic and traditional similarities between Western Balochistan’s Balochi and other neighboring countries of Iran. She believes that the Balochi language has not yet achieved its place in today’s modern world and, due to the neglect of this language, it has an uncertain future.
